Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing environmental health systems on-site.

Your primary role will be to ensure that our operations comply with all relevant environmental standards and regulations. You will be working closely with various stakeholders to identify and mitigate any potential environmental risks associated with our projects.

  • Implement and oversee environmental health systems on-site, including earth control measures, vector control, and waste management.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Submit and maintain the Site Environmental Control Programme and prepare fortnightly reports.
  • Identify and manage site risks such as mosquito breeding, poor drainage, air/dust pollution, and poor housekeeping.
  • Liaise with contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure prompt rectification of environmental issues.
  • Promote environmental awareness through toolbox talks, site campaigns, and training.
  • Support investigations by authorities in cases of vector-borne or environmental incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Environmental, Civil, or Construction-related fields from a recognized institution.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in the construction industry (HDB project background preferred).
  • Registration as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA.
  • Certification in Earth Control Measures (ECMO) by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work 5.5 days per week and travel to various project sites.
