Requirements:

* Proven experience in business development, new business creation, or entrepreneurship, particularly in Southeast Asia or similar emerging markets. Experience in tech startups or innovative industries is highly valued.
* Deep understanding of Southeast Asia's economic, social, and business landscapes, with the ability to navigate diverse markets and adapt strategies accordingly.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in market research, competitor analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
* Passion for innovation and the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable business strategies. Experience in product development or service design is a plus.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and external partners. Strong communication and leadership skills are a must.
* Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Willing to take ownership of projects and drive them forward with limited oversight.
* Ability to work across different cultural contexts in Southeast Asia, building relationships and partnerships that respect local nuances.
* Proficiency in regional languages (e.g Japanese, Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai, or Vietnamese) is an advantage to liaise with PIC in different countries.
* Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia to meet partners, conduct market research, and oversee projects on-site.
* Internal alignment experience with Japanese company are needed
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
