Job Title: Master Culinary Professional
Job DescriptionAs a Master Culinary Professional, you will be responsible for managing the food and menu operations of a culinary establishment. This includes creating new recipes, planning menus for daily service, special events, and catering.
You will oversee and participate in the preparation of ingredients, cooking processes, and the final presentation of dishes. Ensuring all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented attractively, meeting high standards is crucial.
You will also monitor food stock levels, identify and discard outdated items, and order supplies from vendors. Additionally, you will set up the kitchen with equipment, maintain a clean and organized environment, and ensure proper cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have excellent leadership skills, including the ability to lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff. You should also have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations, sanitation rules, and food handling procedures is essential. You should also have experience with cost control, inventory management, and waste reduction.
