We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Dow Jones. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing price assessments for the Asia recycled plastics products market and reporting news related to the recycled plastics industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with industry stakeholders to identify recycled plastics pricing in Asia.
  • Utilize our proprietary pricing methodology to publish daily recycled plastics price assessments.
  • Assist in our recycled plastics analysis by gathering and analyzing data from multiple industry sources.
  • Generate engaging stories for our news service and longer, more analytical content focusing on industry trends and related developments.
  • Represent Dow Jones at industry events and conferences.

About You

  • Main Qualifications and Skills:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of working experience.
  • Excellent networking skills for partner engagement and identifying recycled plastics pricing.
  • Strong numerical and writing skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and flexible hours due to publishing of reports.
  • Passion for tracking and covering the ongoing energy transition.
  • Experience writing about or working in the recycled plastics or plastics industry is a plus.
