Senior Business Analyst Job Description

ASTEK Singapore Innovation Technology Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Singapore. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading the business analysis effort for the EMD Technology Uplift Project, focused on improving portfolio analytics, performance, and risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the business analysis effort for the EMD Technology Uplift Project, ensuring alignment with project goals and engaging with stakeholders across the Asset Management division to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with technology and analytics teams to design solutions that enhance performance measurement, risk assessments, and portfolio exposure analysis.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between existing systems and future requirements, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including process flows, business cases, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure on-time and successful delivery of project objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst, specifically on analytics or data-driven projects in the Asset Management or financial services industry.
  • Financial services experience, especially in Asset Management or related fields.
  • Experience in portfolio analytics and working on projects focused on improving performance, risk, and exposure metrics.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a deep understanding of investment portfolios and risk factors.
  • Strong expertise in portfolio analytics, with familiarity in performance measurement, risk management, and exposure analysis within investment portfolios.
  • Prior experience in data strategy development and implementation within the financial industry.
