Effective Equipment Operations Leader

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Shift Engineer to lead our team and drive equipment performance.
Job Description:
As an Equipment Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to meet equipment schedules, production standards, and operational costs. You will oversee the day-to-day performance of a work unit that performs complex tasks and collaborate closely with management, engineering, production, and training personnel to meet company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage shift equipment technicians to achieve operation objectives.
- Evaluate, promote, and plan new equipment and materials.
- Maintain close communication and collaboration with production and process stakeholders to achieve business strategy objectives.
- Establish and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they continue to be relevant and optimized for operational processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities, with the ability to build and develop an effective team to tackle equipment operation challenges.
- Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of 8D, 5 Why analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, and ability to deliver effective solutions.
