At Resolve Marine, we're seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient daily operations of our facility.

Job Description

This is a critical role that involves supervising assigned personnel, coordinating load-out and off-load of marine salvage and related projects, and overseeing maintenance, repair, and readiness of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Management: Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to provide weekly updates and reports to the Logistics & Asset Manager on completed work and upcoming plans.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Provide input to the Logistics & Asset Manager, along with the Warehouse Manager, to help develop an effective preventive maintenance program for all non-floating assets at the facility.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all marine salvage equipment and packages are stocked and maintained in accordance with Resolve's equipment regulations and standards.
  • Loading and Dispatch: Assist with the proper loading of assets onto containers and trucks departing the warehouse and yard for various projects.
  • Safety Protocols: Ensure that only the correct and green-tagged equipment is dispatched to salvage projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of salvage techniques, vessel construction, marine systems, and emergency response procedures.
  • Technical expertise with portable generators, hydraulic power units, and submersible pumps (both electric and hydraulic driven).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
