About the Department

The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) division is responsible for delivering software and system development, IT support services, and banking operations.

We have centralized our technology components in Singapore, establishing a global framework that supports our regional subsidiaries and branches worldwide. This architecture enables us to provide a secure and adaptable banking infrastructure across 19 countries.

Our Operations divisions focus on delivering transactional customer services while enhancing cost efficiency through process improvements, automation, and streamlined operations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Elicitation
- Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to gather and review business requirements.
- Analyze and document the future state of business and operational processes based on agreed requirements and function points, performing impact assessments.
- Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business needs.
- Monitor and manage risks and issues related to requirements and scope changes.
- Draft business functional release notes and contribute to deployment planning.

Team Collaboration
- Transition functional and non-functional requirements to System Analysts, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the requirements.
- Work alongside the Test Manager to convert business requirements into test scenarios.
- Facilitate training sessions on application enhancements.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base regarding application features and processes.

Testing & Scope Management
- Clarify test findings escalated by the Test Manager and categorize them as defects or change requests.
- Conduct impact assessments and estimations for Project Change Requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in banking or consulting.
  • Strong domain knowledge in banking, particularly in Wealth or Private Banking, along with an understanding of regulatory changes affecting sales and advisory processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and experience in designing comprehensive workflows.
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills, capable of translating analysis into actionable solutions.
  • Extensive experience in technology and operational processes across various functions within the financial sector.
  • A resourceful team player.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and project management fundamentals.
  • A strategic mindset with strong communication, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • A passionate, diligent, and resilient individual capable of thriving in uncertain environments.
  • Experience in scoping and evaluation, considering scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and technology principal risks to provide informed recommendations.
