Cocoa Derivatives Manager

This role involves developing and implementing a derivatives strategy for the APAC cocoa business. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a derivatives strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives
- Collaborate with global sourcing and risk management teams to optimize hedging and proprietary trading activities
- Manage risk exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Represent the region as a subject matter expert in cocoa market intelligence
- Minimum degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Fluent in written and spoken English, and preferably a second language
- Experience with computer systems such as Python, R, Microsoft Office, and SAP
- Project management experience and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven track record of P&L ownership and financial analysis
- Strong industry network and relationships with clients, trading houses, banks, and certification organizations
