About the Program
Join our dynamic 12-month Management Trainee Program under Ofi Future Impact Talent Program (ofi FIT) designed to develop future leaders in the cocoa manufacturing industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and curious individual to join our Engineering team as a Management Trainee specializing in Automation. This role offers hands-on exposure to industrial automation systems and provides a structured development path to build technical expertise in PLC/DCS programming, system maintenance, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of site automation systems, including ABB 800xA, Schneider PLC, and Siemens PLC platforms.
Support PLC programming and HMI design under guidance from senior engineers.
Participate in troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities to ensure system reliability.
Contribute to automation implementation tasks for process changes, plant modifications and improvement projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support project execution.
Learn and apply compliance and safety standards relevant to automation systems.
Learn and support the operation of robots in product packing lines.
Document technical activities and maintain records in accordance with site procedures.
Structured mentorship from experienced automation engineers.
Exposure to capital projects and plant improvement initiatives.
On the job training in industry-standard automation platforms and tools.
Development of problem-solving and project management skills.
Who We’re Looking For
Recent graduates or final-year students majoring in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Internship or academic project experience in automation or control systems is a plus
