Job Overview
This role is integral to the strategic planning and direction of restaurant staff and resources. The objective is to deliver efficient, well-prepared, and profitable food and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless restaurant operations through effective team collaboration
- Work closely with chefs and personnel to craft menus that are both popular and flavorful
- Purchasing and provisioning supplies efficiently while minimizing waste through cost estimation and portion control supervision
- Lead teams on each shift, maintaining high standards of customer service
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, advertising initiatives, and special events in conjunction with management personnel
- Hire, train, and schedule food service personnel to ensure optimal staffing levels
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality and service
- Process payments and assist with operational tasks to maintain smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- A minimum of GCE 'N' level or equivalent qualification, supplemented by at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong management and interpersonal abilities
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in English and an additional language
