Job Title: Senior Battery Systems Specialist

Opportunity Overview

The position of Electrical Service Engineer is available for the installation, testing, and commissioning of battery systems at client locations across different countries.

  • Perform system testing during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) according to established protocols and compile related test and quality control documentation.
  • Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of battery systems at client locations.
  • Provide technical assistance and instructions to customers regarding the electrical integration of batteries with renewable sources, diesel generators, and load systems.
  • Test PCB assemblies, relays, battery management system (BMS) parts, sensor inputs, protection elements, AC and DC distribution boards before system activation.
  • Set up and adjust battery inverters to comply with specific national or regional standards.
  • Utilize external DC power supplies to pre-charge batteries as guided by service manuals.
  • Diagnose and resolve both hardware and software issues that may occur during battery operation.
  • Remotely monitor all deployed battery units, track system performance, and address operational issues as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• Experience in battery system installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Knowledge of electrical integration with renewable sources, diesel generators, and load systems.

• Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and associated components.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
