Battery Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team and lead the development and improvement of battery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct performance testing and quality assessment of battery cells, components, and systems.
  • Evaluate new technologies for integration into product lines, ensuring seamless execution and scalability.
  • Oversee packing and configuration of cells, components, and systems for prototype and production use, guaranteeing optimal efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform rework and refurbishment of battery assemblies, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Design PCB layouts and manage PCBA processes, applying expertise in electronics engineering and innovation.
  • Develop and refine mechanical components for battery systems, including enclosures, connectors, and accessories, focusing on precision and ergonomics.
  • Commissioning and decommissioning activities for battery packs at customer or project sites, prioritizing safety and compliance.
  • Perform ad-hoc repair and troubleshooting of tools, test equipment, and battery-related hardware, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related fields, with a strong foundation in circuit design and analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of battery compositions, BMS, and assembly processes, as well as proficiency in CAD software and technical presentations.
  • Hands-on, analytical, and resourceful, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
