The role of an Advanced Battery Systems Expert revolves around leading the development and improvement of battery systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting performance testing and quality assessment of battery cells, components, and systems.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of new technologies to ensure seamless integration into product lines, guaranteeing scalability.\
  • Oversee the design and implementation of optimal cell packing configurations, components, and systems for prototype and production use, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.\
  • Develop strategies for minimizing waste and maximizing productivity through effective rework and refurbishment processes of battery assemblies.\
  • Design innovative PCB layouts and manage PCBA processes, leveraging expertise in electronics engineering and innovation.\
  • Create and refine mechanical components for battery systems, including enclosures, connectors, and accessories, focusing on precision and ergonomics.\
  • Execute commissioning and decommissioning activities for battery packs at customer or project sites, prioritizing safety and compliance.\
  • Perform ad-hoc repair and troubleshooting of tools, test equipment, and battery-related hardware, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
\Requirements and Qualifications:\

Key qualifications include a degree in Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related fields, with a strong foundation in circuit design and analysis.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar industry, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.\
  • Good knowledge of battery compositions, BMS, and assembly processes, as well as proficiency in CAD software and technical presentations.\
  • Hands-on, analytical, and resourceful, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
