Research Engineer II Role Overview

The Research Engineer II role involves participating in the development of lithium-ion battery pack design and preparing design schemes according to system requirements on electric, thermal, and structural performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Participate in the development of advanced battery thermal management technology">
  • Conduct multiphysical numerical analysis and model built-up for battery systems using computational software">
  • Prepare technical requirements and design verification standards according to system requirements">
  • Conduct literature review on equipment standards and specifications">
  • Responsible for preparing 2D and 3D mechanical drawings as well as animation">
  • Responsible for preparing design progress documents and final reports">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Candidate must possess a master's degree in thermodynamics, electric and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar field">
  • Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks and CAE simulation software like COMSOL and ANSYS is preferred">
  • Understanding of development progress of battery system products is preferred">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required">
  • Bilingual capability in Chinese and English for research purposes is preferable">
