Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead and conduct user research activities, understanding users' goals, behavior, and needs.

The successful candidate will develop models of their users based on research findings, as well as models for other domain factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define context scenarios and tell stories about ideal user experiences the team wants to achieve.
  • Describe product or system capabilities and requirements that support users' goals and tasks.
  • Explain how successful interactions look like.

Our ideal candidate will design the overall structure and behavior of the system, information flows, and workflows. They will test and refine the product through evaluative research, ensuring that the design enables users to meet their goals and complete their tasks.

A keen understanding of underlying technology and mediums is required. Knowledge of coding is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of shipped digital projects that are in use, preferably with experience in developing eServices and Local Government Agencies.

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and Adobe CS (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) is essential.
