Regional Sales Manager Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth in the Southeast Asia Territory by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and channel partners. This role will also involve managing and expanding organic business through the AMETEK Level Measurement Solutions (LMS) Business Unit sales channels for all products, as well as managing key level original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support designated regions, industries, and accounts/clients directly or through channel partners by conducting effective sales presentations and training channel partners to be conversational about our products.
  • Conduct research to identify project and industry MRO/PLB site audit opportunities in designated geographic regions, and coordinate pursuit and follow-up with RSM/BDM and/or channel partners.
  • Create, conduct, and manage lead generation campaigns for multiple regions, industries, and applications.
  • Maintain CRM system to increase opportunity capture rates through follow-up on quotations, leads, and projects directly with clients, through channel partners or responsible RSM/BDM.
  • Analyze data to identify market trends related to new application or product enhancements opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in General Business, Engineering, or other technical/instrumentation related field.
  • Strong social/interpersonal skills, comfortable with relationship building and sales (in person and via phone).
  • Professional and effective oral and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the application of industrial instrumentation.
  • Analytical skills to identify data trends and predict future needs.
  • Ability to disseminate/articulate technical information comfortably to small/medium size audiences (public speaking).
  • Fluent in common software platforms including MS Word, MS Excel, Salesforce, etc.
