Job Summary

The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of construction costs and timely project delivery within budget constraints.

  • Budget Planning and Cost Control: Develop accurate budget estimates, perform thorough cost analysis, and prepare tender submissions to guarantee projects' viability and profitability.
  • Contract Administration: Conduct a comprehensive review of drawings and specifications to define scope and costing structures, manage contractual requirements, handle submission works, variation orders (VO), and oversee progress claims, payments, and finalise project accounts.
  • Site Coordination: Monitor actual construction progress against contract quantities to maintain cost control, participate in site meetings with clients, consultants, and vendors, and evaluate price comparisons and prepare detailed costing summaries.

Key Requirements

  • A Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Postgraduate qualification in Building Construction or Civil Engineering is essential.
  • No less than 5 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry with main contractors or builders is required.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills are mandatory.
