[What the role is]

You will be part of the Finance budget team which manages budgets and grants of the organisation to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately and utilised according to strategic plans. Your responsibilities include the following:
Funding Evaluation: Review project funding proposals and ensure that they support outcomes of the organisation through programme evaluation.
Budgetary Management: Preparation and timely submission of returns, ensure proper allocation of funds, monitor and track projects details such as funding sources and funding periods.
Financial and Planning Analysis: Provide insights to support decision-making and perform financial forecasting through management reporting and visualisation using financial analytics.
Governance: Preparation of audit schedules, year-end reconciliation of grant movements and work closely with operations divisions on system queries relating to budgetary controls.
