Costing Executive

The Role of a Costing Executive involves overseeing organizational costs to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations. This includes monitoring and tracking costs across projects, operations, and logistics.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting regular cost analyses to compare actual expenditures against budgets and identify variances.
  • Collaborating with departments to assist in forecasting and developing cost-effective budgets.
  • Preparing accurate cost forecasts and contributing to financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Producing regular reports on costs, budgets, and variances to keep stakeholders informed and maintain transparency.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Generating detailed cost and expenditure reports to support proactive cost management.
  • Tracking project-specific costs to ensure expenditures remain within budget and align with financial goals.
  • Conducting spot checks on cargo and post-project cost reviews to evaluate profitability and address overspending.
  • Generating and processing invoices while maintaining accurate records of contracts, sales agreements, services, and activities in the cost tracker.
  • Supporting accounts receivable (AR) tracking by updating records and ensuring timely invoicing.
  • Organizing and documenting invoices for easy access and retrieval.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and disputes related to invoices, clarifying incorrect charges and making necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  • A positive work attitude, self-motivated, and accountable.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or financial management.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
