
Estate Maintenance Specialist

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee our facilities maintenance and improvement projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintaining accurate records of facility operations, including maintenance schedules and repair history.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Developing and implementing effective facility management strategies to optimize resource use and reduce waste.
- Liaising with stakeholders, including staff, students, and external partners, to ensure that their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure improvement works, renovations, and maintenance projects.
- Facility Operations: Oversee the upkeep of buildings, learning spaces, amenities, green areas, and recreational facilities.
- Safety and Compliance: Lead the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety and Health policies, fire safety procedures, and risk assessments.
- Vendor Management: Prepare specification documents, evaluate, and manage contractors and service vendors.
- Budgeting and Resource Management: Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including capital works and operating expenses.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, or a related field, and at least 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, estate operations, and infrastructure planning.
