About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Management & Grant Applications:
    • Grant Administration: Oversee the preparation and management of grant applications, including gathering required data, documents, and coordinating with stakeholders.
    • Grant Writing: Craft persuasive proposals and communications to attract and retain grant funding, working closely with various departments for data and insights.
    • Grant Income Generation: Achieve fundraising targets and align efforts with strategic goals.
    • Prospect Research: Research and identify potential sources of grant funding from both public and private entities.
    • Grant tracking & reporting: Develop and maintain a grant tracking system to monitor key dates, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
    • Compliance: Ensure adherence to best practices in fundraising, grant management, and data protection.
  • Fundraising:
    • Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to meet annual revenue goals.
    • Project Development: Support the creation and enhancement of projects to maximize funding potential.
    • Events & Partnerships: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising events and partnerships to align with overall strategy.
    Qualifications
    • At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
    • Demonstrated expertise in grant writing and managing grant applications.
    • Strong background in donor management and fundraising strategy.
    • Experience with fundraising events is a plus.
    Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Proficient in donor management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Salesforce.
    • Time management capabilities is a must.
    • Knowledgeable about fundraising best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
