Lead Structural Engineer Opportunity

  • The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of projects throughout the entire process of structural engineering design, from conceptual design stage to construction.
  • You will work closely with colleagues to provide coaching and training to junior engineers, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them grow professionally.
  • Responsibilities include leading project teams in delivering projects on time and within budget, managing medium/large size projects and delivering to deadlines, whilst ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
  • Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of local codes of practice and authority submission and approval procedures.

Requirements

  • Accredited degree level (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
  • Proven experience of managing projects and delivering to deadlines is essential.
  • Extensive technical knowledge in Structural Engineering, plus a strong understanding of other disciplines, is also necessary.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer is mandatory.
  • Competent user of relevant structural engineering software is also required.
