We are seeking a Mental Health Support Specialist to fulfill a key role in our healthcare team.

This specialist will be responsible for providing mental health support services to clients and their caregivers, conducting mental health assessments, developing service planning documents, and supporting clients with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and provide psychoeducation, case management, and counseling services to clients and caregivers.
  • Develop and implement service planning documents and manuals, including requirements and processes for outreach, screening, mental health information, service linkage, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records for submission to the Community Intervention Team (COMIT) programme.
  • Support in the development of COMIT service planning documents and manuals.
  • Maintain client and programme data and documents in accordance with COMIT programme requirements and personal data protection guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or postgraduate diploma in Social Work.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in community or hospital settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and IT skills.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare environment is an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate with vernacular languages-speaking clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dementia or mental health training or working experience.
  • Experience using psychotherapy with mental health patients.
