Our team seeks a seasoned professional to assume the role of Deputy Head, Employment.

Job Description

As Deputy Head, Employment, you will play a pivotal role in leading our employment practice and driving strategic initiatives forward. With a focus on banking and financial services-related disputes and litigation, as well as employment-related disputes, advisory, and regulatory matters, your expertise will be invaluable in shaping our approach to these critical areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an exceptional individual with:

  • Extensive experience in employment law, including dispute resolution and advisory work;
  • Proven track record of success in high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into actionable solutions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Effective bilingualism in English and Mandarin (and written Chinese), with the ability to communicate complex ideas in both languages.
