Job Overview:

Technical Oversight Specialist

WSP is seeking a Technical Oversight Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical and electrical works for assigned projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in supervising construction work on site. You will ensure that all installations meet the required standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works for assigned projects
  • Ensure compliance with working drawings, local codes, regulations, and standards
  • Attend site meetings and walks with developers and consultants as required
  • Assist consultants in supervision and inspection of construction work on site
  • Monitor project progress schedules and quality standards
  • Maintain and update site records on project progress

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Registration as a resident technical officer with IES or ACES
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an RTO on local projects
  • Experience in supervising similar residential projects is an added advantage
