Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary
The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests and ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and document all incoming calls, ensuring that messages are relayed to the appropriate personnel and requests are followed up in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain accurate daily attendance records.
- Manage the Lost and Found process, including receiving, recording, storing, and retrieving items.
- Maintain and update all housekeeping files and records.
- Operate the Property Management System (PMS) to ensure efficient management of housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and communicate VIP arrivals and in-house rooms to Room Attendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Assistant Housekeepers.
- Control and operate the communication system for all housekeeping staff.
- Track and communicate special requests for arriving guests to Housekeeping Supervisors and Assistant Housekeepers.
- Process and follow up on work orders with the Engineering Department or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Generate and file all necessary daily reports.
Requirements
- Ability to work rotating shifts and a 6-day workweek.
- Capacity to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Basic English for effective communication with guests and colleagues.
- Minimum O'levels with 1-2 years of experience in administration.
- Microsoft Office skills.
