Housekeeping Operations Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Operations Assistant to join our team at Far East Organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our housekeeping services, including answering calls, updating attendance records, and maintaining Lost & Found records.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and log down all information from incoming calls, ensuring messages are passed through accordingly and requests are followed up.
- Update and maintain daily attendance records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle all issues concerning Lost & Found, including receiving, recording, storage, claiming, and clearing.
- Update and maintain all Housekeeping files and records, ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
- Operate the Property Management System (PMS), ensuring seamless communication with other departments.
- Keep track of all VIP arrivals and in-house rooms, communicating with Room Attendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Assistant Housekeepers.
- Control and operate the Communication system for all Housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient communication.
- Keep track of all special requests for arriving guests, communicating with Housekeeping Supervisors and Assistant Housekeepers.
- Input and follow up on all work orders with the Engineering Department or Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring timely completion.
- Print all necessary daily reports and file accordingly, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the Housekeeping Office, ensuring a professional environment.
- Raise purchase requests for Housekeeping operations, ensuring adequate stock of necessary supplies.
- Clear all outdated reports in the office on a monthly basis, based on hotel standards for record-keeping.
- Ensure adequate stock of all used forms in Housekeeping, maintaining a well-stocked office.
- Report any unusual or suspicious behavior of guests or staff, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
- O Level qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
