Memory Product Engineer Job Description

The Memory Product Engineer plays a key role in driving the development and manufacturing of leading-edge memory products. This position involves leading a portfolio of best-in-class next-generation memory products focused on critical KPIs such as quality, cost, cycle time, and scale.

  • Orient test coverage on current and future design architectures and process nodes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Develop, validate, characterize, and qualify next-generation memory products to ensure reliability and meet necessary standards directly impacting market readiness.
  • Provide technical support for design verification and in-depth circuit analysis of new products using CAD tools and Verilog simulations.
  • Improve manufacturing test yields, reduce test time, and resolve yield-related issues to drive cost reduction and meet yield targets.
  • Resolve root cause and resolve manufacturing test flow issues, qualification and RMA device issues.
  • Promote innovation and drive changes to provide a technical advantage over competitors.
  • Mentor others to develop their skills and knowledge within the team and organization.
  • Develop project management skills to ensure efficient execution of projects and timely delivery of technological solutions.
  • Make final decisions on risk analysis and project prioritization to impact technological development direction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for holistic development and shipping of end products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field, with product engineering experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and technical skills, especially in problem-solving with root cause understanding and solution space through in-depth circuit analysis.
  • Basic understanding of CMOS technology and DRAM device physics and design.
  • Good knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools and scripting.
  • Dedicated and highly motivated individual with a flexible approach towards adapting to different roles in a dynamic working environment.
  • Proven track record of collaborative work within/across teams to address sophisticated business and engineering problems.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability towards assigned role with professional work ethic.
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken.
