Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences

About the Role

This multifaceted position serves as the primary point of contact for all guests, ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to departure. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building.

  • Treating all guests with respect, professionalism, and courtesy, paying special attention to long-staying guests and VIPs;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with in-house guests to provide a positive impression;
  • Handling incoming calls efficiently and promptly, taking messages accurately and delivering wake-up call requests timely according to established guidelines;
  • Ensuring timely replies to guest inquiries via websites and email;
  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating quarterly activities for guests and recommending ideas to enhance their stay;
  • Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Front Office, Lobby, Pacific Lounge, and Living Room;
  • Working closely with the team and other departments to ensure information is shared promptly;
  • Performing cashier functions, posting charges to guests, and ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for;
  • Maximizing room revenue by developing salesmanship skills and providing guests with options;
  • Familiarizing yourself with the property's standard procedures, current products, services, promotions, events, and operating hours; and
  • Enforcing and complying with rules and regulations in the Employee Handbook and Workplace Safety and Health policies.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in handling cash and credit transactions accurately;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and procedures;
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications;
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
