Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at ASTROL SECURITY ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in the security industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, increasing market share, and achieving sales targets.

About the Role

This is a dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of the security industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in business development. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing business strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth;
  • Identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of potential customers and prospects;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sales goals and objectives;
  • Providing market intelligence and insights to inform business decisions;

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or marketing, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in business development or a related field. A strong network of contacts in the security industry and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • To bring in quality business and increase Company's market share in the security industry;
  • To achieve the sales target set by the company;
  • Ensure payments are received; and settle any dispute that may arise;
  • To handle yourself professionally so as to upkeep the image and prestige of the company;
  • Provide on the ground support for sales team as they generate leads and close new deals;
  • To communicate and ensure that the installation contractors and our project team are familiar with the requirements of the projects, and to see to it that the job is properly and professionally carried out;
  • Develop plans for the sales team to acquire new customers or clients, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business to business marketing visits;
  • Submit daily activity report to Sales Manager
  • To attend daily meeting and provide updates;
  • To perform Technical work when required;
  • To perform research and development on new products;
  • Any other duties assigned by Head of Department;
Requirements

The following qualifications and skills are required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business development or a related field;
  • Strong network of contacts in the security industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Proven track record of success in business development;
  • Knowledge of the security industry and its trends;
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits. The successful candidate will also receive ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge in the security industry.
