Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the culinary team to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
  2. Develop and implement new menu items that meet customer demands and drive sales growth
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of menu launches and promotions
  4. Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, safety and efficiency
  5. Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge
  6. Work closely with the head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability and training opportunities
  7. Ensure that all food storage units meet standards and are consistently well-managed
  8. Assist the head chef with menu creation and implementation

Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience as a senior chef or culinary director in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  2. Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen operations and team leadership
  3. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation and quality control procedures
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  6. Knowledge of local and national health codes and regulations
  7. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts or related field preferred
