Executive Pastry Manager

- Lead a team in preparing and baking artisan breads, sweet and savoury bakes and pastries for service, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Food Preparation and Storage: Supervise and ensure good practices for food storage in accordance with food safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Manage production site and equipment maintenance, performing routine checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Cost Control and Inventory: Manage expense control, food cost, wastage, and quality control in accordance to agreed targets, reviewing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Train and develop team members, conducting orientation and ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Support team staffing and assist in hiring new staff members, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- At least 5 years of experience in the food industry as a Pastry Baker, with a strong background in pastry-making and baking.
- Hold a Certificate in pastry-making, baking or equivalent, with a good understanding of production routines and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and initiative skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service.
