Building Maintenance Specialist

The role of a Senior Maintenance Technician is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of dialysis centres.
As part of our Facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our dialysis facilities.
- You will be responsible for performing daily minor repairs and maintenance at NKF Dialysis Centres.
- Ensure timely rectification of defects to minimize disruptions.
- Proactively conduct preventive maintenance checks to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors for minor/ad-hoc works, ensuring quality completion.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies and support critical facility issues when required.
- Update the Reporting Officer on outstanding issues and follow through with rectification plans.
- Gather on-ground feedback to identify areas for improvement.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to service improvement and innovation initiatives, seeking ways to enhance maintenance processes and user experience.
We are looking for an individual with a strong practical background in building maintenance, preferably with a Nitec / ITC (Level 3) in Building Services or equivalent qualification.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while being proactive and self-motivated, always looking to improve processes and service delivery.
Key Requirements- Nitec / ITC (Level 3) in Building Services or equivalent qualification.
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, with a strong practical background.
- Experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services will be an added advantage.
- Class 3 driving licence preferred.
