Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Fundraising Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about fundraising and has a proven track record of success in this field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, managing events, and building relationships with donors and stakeholders. They will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, and coordinating logistics for events.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals
  • Manage and coordinate fundraising events, including preparation, execution, and evaluation
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and other key partners
  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports, including budget monitoring and tracking
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment
  • Conduct onsite inspections and project manage events
  • Prepare end-of-event statements of accounts and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and document debriefs for continuous improvement purposes
  • Develop and implement strategies for active stewardship of existing and potential donors
  • Build relationships and maintain regular communication with corporate groups and donors
  • Conduct public education talks, exhibitions, and presentations to groups of professionals, corporate schools, on the role of the institution and donation sponsorship opportunities to support a cause or coordinate activities for fundraising events
  • Prepare and submit regular fundraising performance reports and statistics to Senior Manager Fundraising Head Communications Community Engagement

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communications, or equivalent from a recognised institution
  • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in fundraising events and donor engagement
  • Preferably have experience in event organising and management
  • Experience in fundraising in the social service industry is an advantage
  • Bilingual ability to communicate in local dialects preferably
