**What the role is**
- The Office of Chief Psychologist (OCP) provides thought and practice leadership in the strategic direction and planning for psychological services within the Ministry and the Social Service Sector. Specifically, it provides professional consultations, training, research and evaluation in the field of psychology and mental health.

**What you will be working on**
- Reporting to the Chief Psychologist, your role is to support the Clinical Team in the various thought and practice initiatives.
- Provide clinical inputs and consultation in early intervention for children (e.g., EI Continuum, Inclusive Preschool Pilot).
- Develop parent training programs for parents of children with developmental needs to enhance their parenting skills as well as improve their children’s development.
- Train professionals to deliver parent training programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of the parent training programs.

**What we are looking for**
- At least a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology
- Preferably 10 years’ experience in educational or hospital setting with at least 5 years’ experience in working with pre-schoolers with developmental needs
- Preferably 5 years’ experience in training and supervision
- Good knowledge of the early intervention and early childhood education sectors
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
