Job Title: Genomics Product Expert

We are seeking a skilled Genomics Product Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting pre-sales technical presentations, establishing relationships with key opinion leaders, and developing sales strategies to grow the business in long read sequencing, single cell and spatial genomics products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-sales technical presentations to educate customers on features and benefits of our offerings
  • Establish and foster good relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders, including keeping them engaged with our diverse Genomics offerings
  • Develop good rapport with direct accounts and have a good understanding of their requirements
  • Work with suppliers and other account managers to develop and execute sales strategies to grow the business in long read sequencing, single cell and spatial genomics products
  • Keep abreast of current industry trends and competitive information
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure needed sales support
  • Fulfill job responsibilities independently in a timely and proactive manner

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or technical support role related to Next Generation Sequencing
  • Good understanding of long-read sequencing, single-cell or spatial genomics a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and colleagues
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to provide tailored solutions to customers
  • Proactive and customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional service
