Are you looking for a challenging role in waste management?

Job Description:
  • We are seeking an Engineering Executive to join our team, responsible for the operation and maintenance of our Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF).

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations.

You will also implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for electrical and control equipment, administer contracts for the operation and maintenance of mechanical or building services equipment, enforce permit-to-work systems, and supervise contractors' work for quality and safety.

In addition, you will assist in the formulation and preparation of standard operating and safety procedures, equipment testing/changeover programs, and perform shift work in a waste-to-energy facility if needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in any Engineering course or Nitec in any Engineering course
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Professional certification e.g. Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, Workplace Safety Health Officer is advantageous
  • Good technical background and strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge in solid waste management would be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and preferably in Navisworks and Primavera P6
  • Good interpersonal communication
  • Able to work in waste-to-energy facilities
  • Able to perform rotating shift work over public holidays and weekends if necessary
