Teach Mandarin Chinese to Students

This role involves instructing students aged 6 and above in the Mandarin Chinese language. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sharing Chinese culture with learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive Chinese language classes, including Business Chinese.
  • Tailor lessons to individual or group needs.
  • Instruct in-person and/or online (1-on-1 and/or small group setting).
  • Prepare lessons according to our curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate student attendance and class records.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement.
  • Be willing to provide additional hours to make up lost time due to missed lessons.
  • Maintain a safe and vibrant learning environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in teaching the Chinese language to non-Chinese speakers is necessary.
  • A relevant academic background or teaching Chinese as an International Language is preferred.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written), with strong command of English is essential.
  • A strong pronunciation in spoken Mandarin is necessary to facilitate teaching in Chinese Language.
  • Tech-savviness with experience using digital platforms (e.g., Zoom) is required.
  • Patience, passion, and responsibility are key qualities for this role.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills are essential.
  • A commitment of at least 6 months to 1 year is necessary.
