Advanced Microscopy and Spectroscopy Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced researcher to join our team as a Senior Research Fellow in Microscopy and Spectroscopy.
- Manage a suite of advanced microscopy and spectroscopy infrastructure, including stimulated emission depletion microscopy (STED) super-resolution microscopy, time-resolved spinning disc confocal fluorescence microscopy, Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence Microscopy, dark field microscopy, optical, Raman, and fluorescence spectroscopy, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, and fluorescence lifetime imaging.
- Analyze microscopy images and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy data and develop analysis pipelines.
- Monitor the performance of high-end optical microscopes, troubleshoot technical issues, and liaise with external vendors on repairs and servicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with researchers on projects involving advanced optical microscopy and spectroscopy.
- Publish research results and apply for research funding to support research projects centered around advanced microscopy and spectroscopy techniques.
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant research experience.
- Experience with various modalities of advanced optical microscopy.
- Experience with time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy and/or fluorescence lifetime imaging.
