Research Scientist Position in Terahertz Spectroscopy

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to contribute to a project focused on performing terahertz spectroscopy measurements of topological and solar cell materials. The successful candidate will be part of our team at Nanyang Technological University, working closely with the laboratory of Assoc. Prof. Elbert Chia.

Job Description:

  • Operate, maintain, and modify scientific equipment in Prof. Chia's laboratory.
  • Manage project issues, including related paperwork.
  • Perform material characterization and measurements in optical and terahertz range.
  • Prepare scientific publications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree in physics is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated strong experimental skills.
  • Previous experience in time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to publish high-tier research publications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including scientific writing).
