About the Role:

">

We are seeking a Product Development Technologist to join our Research, Development & Applications (RDA) team. In this role, you will assist in carrying out all RDA activities that are vital to development and application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and optimize formulations for dairy applications, including dairy beverages, yoghurt, cream, butter, etc.">
  • Apply functional ingredients in dairy matrices to meet sensory, nutritional, shelf-life targets and drive collections from multiple core technologies.">
  • Conduct pilot trials, bench-top experiments, and sample making.">
  • Translate customer or market needs into technical solutions and prototypes.">
  • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and regulatory teams and other functions on projects.">
  • Provide technical support to customers, including capability presentations, troubleshooting, and on-site application support as needed.">
  • Stay up-to-date on Kerry Technologies, trends, scientific developments, and regulatory changes in the dairy industry.">
  • Document and maintain detailed records of formulations, trial results, and project reports.">

Requirements:

">

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food or Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field within Applied Sciences is required. At least 2 years of relevant experience in dairy product development and application, including but not limited to dairy beverages, yogurt, cream, and similar products, is also necessary.

Practical experience operating laboratory and pilot-scale dairy processing equipment is essential. A demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about ingredients and recipe formulation is also beneficial.
