Social Worker

HealthServe is seeking a motivated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Singapore. As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing support services to migrant workers in dormitories, recreation centres, and other facilities.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people including migrant workers, community partners, volunteers, and employees.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional who can lead outreach programs for migrant workers, develop strategic partnerships with corporate organizations, and provide case management and counseling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead outreach programs for migrant workers to promote social cohesion and well-being.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with corporate organizations to identify new platforms for outreach.
  • Provide case management and counseling services to migrant workers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in case work, social services, or a related field.
  • Intermediate understanding of social work theories, ethics, casework, group work, and community development.
  • Proficiency in social work interventions and programs through targeted activities.
Skills:
  • Casework & group work management by assessing client needs, developing care plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
  • Accurately complete and maintain required documents such as intervention plans, progress reports, and case notes.
Experience:
  • Hands-on experience in managing social work interventions, both in individual and group settings.
  • Conducting casework, group work, and evaluating community development activities to improve service delivery and meet the needs of the migrant worker community.
