Job Description
">- We are seeking a skilled Bunker Trader/Marketer to join our team. As a key member of our sales and trading department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of sales, marketing, and trading of bunker fuel.
- You will manage existing client accounts and canvas for new clients, ensuring optimum rates that benefit both the company and the client.
- Daily duties will include active brokering/trading of marine fuels on behalf of clients.
- You will monitor customers' payments and ensure late payments are chased.
- Excellent communication skills are essential as you will work closely with clients and other members of the team.
Key Skills and Qualifications
">- A minimum qualification of diploma or degree is required.
- Previous experience in Sales & Marketing in the shipping, oil & gas industry, or experience in brokering/trading in other markets will be considered.
- You must be organized and capable of maintaining CRM systems and good general administrative skills.
- Outgoing and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to present information to clients in a concise manner and have good sales techniques.
- Team player with ability to support other team members as and when required.
- Familiarity with standard industry computer programs, such as Microsoft Office etc.
