Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Storage Architect to craft and implement a cutting-edge storage solution for offline data in our recommendation system. This role is critical to ensuring seamless performance, uninterrupted service, and robust system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop an efficient offline/real-time data architecture for large-scale recommendation systems.
  • Implement a flexible, scalable, stable, and high-performance storage system and computation model.
  • Troubleshoot production systems and design necessary mechanisms and tools to ensure overall stability.
  • Develop industry-leading distributed systems, including offline and online storage, batch, and stream processing frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or related fields, with 1+ years of experience building scalable systems.
  • Proficiency in big data processing systems like Spark/Flink at the source code level, with a preference for customizing or extending these systems.
  • A deep understanding of data lake technology source code, such as Hudi, Iceberg, or DeltaLake.
  • Knowledge of HDFS principles and familiarity with columnar storage formats like Parquet/ORC.
  • Prior experience in data warehousing modeling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C++, and Scala.
  • Experience with other big data systems/frameworks like Hive, HBase, or Kudu.
  • Ability to tackle challenging problems without clear solutions and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
