Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Storage Management Specialist to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of our NetApp storage systems.

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing effective data backup and recovery strategies to ensure data security and integrity. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve storage-related issues and improve overall system efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Data Storage Management: Manage, monitor, and optimize NetApp storage systems for high availability, performance, and reliability.
    • Data Backup and Recovery: Design and implement effective data backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data security and integrity.
    • Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline storage management and improve efficiency.
  • Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
    • Experience: 5+ years of experience managing NetApp storage systems, with proficiency in ONTAP OS.
    • Skills :
      • Strong understanding of storage network protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC).
      • Hands-on experience with data backup and recovery technologies, including SnapMirror, SnapVault, and NDMP.
      • Proficient in automation scripting (Python, Perl, Shell) for storage management.
