Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Analyst. As a key member of our Drug and Vaccine Evaluation team, you will play a vital role in conducting health technology assessments (HTAs) and providing expert advice to inform national subsidy decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health economics, public health, or a related field, with experience in HTA research and analysis. You will be responsible for conducting systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and economic evaluations to inform decision-making, as well as developing guidance documents and educational materials for stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the development of evidence-based policies that improve healthcare outcomes for Singaporeans.

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting HTAs on new and existing drugs, vaccines, and precision medicine;
  • Developing guidance documents and educational materials informed by evidence-based decision-making;
  • Working with stakeholders, including clinical experts, drug companies, and senior staff within public healthcare institutions and MOH to facilitate successful subsidy implementation of recommendations;
  • Evaluating the clinical and cost impact of implementation of ACE guidance.

You will also be expected to participate in internal meetings, assist with coordination, and maintain links with external academic, professional, and clinical institutions to ensure current best practice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in a healthcare or science field;
  • Postgraduate qualifications in health economics, public health, precision medicine, statistics, or epidemiology;
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in HTA research and analysis;
  • Strong understanding of principles of evidence-based healthcare, critical appraisal, and interpretation and synthesis of healthcare research evidence;
  • Familiarity with databases such as PubMed/Medline, Embase, and Cochrane, as well as grey literature;
  • Ability to gather data, analyse, critique, and synthesise complex information and prepare guidance documents, policy papers, and briefing documents.
