Royal Ocean Marine is looking for an experienced Offshore Technical Manager to oversee the technical operations and maintenance of our fleet. Pivotal Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and compliance with maritime regulations, contributing to the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our vessels.

This key role involves managing and coordinating all technical operations of offshore vessels, ensuring compliance with national and international maritime safety and environmental regulations.

A strong focus on developing and implementing maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reliability is essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and coordinate all technical operations of offshore vessels
  • Ensure compliance of vessels with national and international maritime safety and environmental regulations
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Supervise and provide guidance to engineering and technical teams
  • Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Plan and oversee dry-dockings, repairs, and upgrades
  • Review technical documentation and reports to ensure quality and compliance
  • Facilitate communication between departments to support operational objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in technical management within the offshore industry
  • Proven track record in managing technical teams and project execution
  • Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to travel offshore as required
