Job Description

As a Senior Executive, Bed Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of hospital resources. You will be responsible for coordinating the allocation of beds and related resources, balancing demand and supply, and implementing policies to manage patient flow.

You will work closely with various departments, including Emergency Department, BMU, Clinics, Wards, and Medical teams, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Your goal will be to maximize bed usage and optimize resources, while also providing regular statistics and reports to management.

Additionally, you will implement contingency and business continuity plans as required, maintain effective communication channels with staff and stakeholders, and address queries and handle complaints in a timely manner.

Furthermore, you will lead and facilitate staff in improving work processes, undertake any other duties or projects assigned by management, and collaborate with the BMU Operations Manager and the team to implement systems and procedures that ease flow and capacity constraints.
