Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose developmental conditions such as Autism, Dyslexia, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, and Dyspraxia, providing written reports to parents and caregivers.
  • IQ Testing and Reports: Administer IQ tests and provide enrollment reports to support children's educational needs.
  • Psychological Assessments: Provide exemptions or accommodations for children with learning challenges, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
  • Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Develop tailored IEPs to meet each child's unique needs and goals.
  • Social Skills Classes: Teach social skills classes focusing on essential life skills like turn-taking, anger management, and communication.
  • Parent Training: Provide training to parents on topics such as play skills, introducing non-verbal communication, and supporting their child's development.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology
  • Experience working in Paediatric Psychology
  • Registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
